The company operates in Italy and abroad for the most important public clients such as the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, the Senate of the Republic, the Bank of Italy, the Cities of Rome and Milan, the Ministère de la Culture de France, the Center des Monuments Nationaux, the City of Nîmes, the Vatican Museums and the city of Singapore.
Among the most important works in Rome are the wall paintings and stuccoes of the Domus Valeriorum, the Portal of the Vatican Museums, the Babuino Fountain, the Borrominian Cloister at the Quattro Fontane, the frescoes of the Basilica of Sant’Agostino in Campo Marzio. In Milan the paintings of Villa Litta Modignani. In France, the mosaics of the Roman villas of Montmaurin, the lapidary collection of the Musée de la Romanité de Nîmes, the Gothic sculptures of the Chapelle du Saint Sépulcre in the Rodez Cathedral, medieval paintings in the Palais des Rois de Majorque in Perpignan.
Artisan company of family tradition, founded in 1987, is based on the experience gained by the owner Giacomo at the studio of his uncle Mirco Casaril, artist, restorer and teacher at the Istituto d’Arte ai Carmini in Venice and then in Rome at other specialized companies .
In 1997 he obtained the certificate of the XIIth ICCROM / Unesco International Course on Technology of Stone Conservation, in 2012 the mention “Excellence in Rome” of the Chamber of Commerce of Rome, in 2016 the prize for the “Good Cultural Practices” of the Lazio Region.
Is qualified for public works according to Italian law and exclusively employs restorers and technicians registered in the ministerial list.
We design and carry out restoration works on stone works, wall paintings, mosaics and stuccos, with particular specialization in detachment and transfer to a new support.
In our daily activity, scientific rigor together with artisan pragmatism allow us to solve the most difficult and disparate problems. Hence also our special affection for restoration in an archaeological environment.
